Best wishes from Michigan, I got a chance to visit Oncotech Laboratory (http://www.oncotech.com/ ) in California last week. Mai Gu is their Medical Director. She, her husband and their 2 sons are doing well. It was nice to see her.
I met with Changgao. He has a good independent practice in the LA area (not far from Mai). He's very busy with his GI pathology service. My Dad and I went out for dinner with him on Sat. It was great to see them both doing well.
Life continues to be very good here in Michigan for me. I have been keeping busy for the past 6 years with my 5 partners in independent practice at a 400 bed community based teaching hospital (23 OR's) within 50 miles of the US- Canadian border. We had 26 600 surgicals last year. Lots of fascinating pathology in this area. I maintain fond memories of my residency at Queen's,

Don Ho was a resident at Queens' and did his NP rotation in 1985. Here is info about him in case you do not have it. I have copied parts of a letter I received from him.
"I am always grateful for all the training and chances that I had while I was trained at Queens. In particular, the training in neuropathology is invaluable. . I am now running the Department of Pathology and Lab. Medicine at the Taipei Veterans General Hospital, which is a 3000-bed general hospital. Our department has 8 sections (4 AP and 4 CP) and some 170 personnel. It is a CAP accredited laboratory. For diagnostic work, I am still working as a neuropathologist and consultant of surgical pathology. Teaching residents, teaching medical students and doing research work are also my routine."
