National Inherited Bleeding Disorder Genotyping Lab
A central "reference" genotyping laboratory for inherited bleeding
disorders has been in existence at Queen's University since November 2000.
The laboratory is not an accredited, licensed diagnostic facility.
The main aim of this facility is to provide molecular genetic testing for
patients with inherited bleeding disorders and their families.
Tests are
ordered by care givers from Canadian hemophilia comprehensive care centers and from clinical genetics clinics across Canada.
